South East Kiting Association

The South East Kiting Association will be displaying various kites, buggies, mountainboards and other power-kite related equipment. They will have a number of expert kiters and experts available to answer questions about kiting in general and will have promotional materials from a number of manufacturers as well as their own kiting and club information. They will be running displays of freestyle power kiting, kite-landboarding, buggying and kite surfing at regular intervals with some of the top UK riders including the men’s and ladies 2006 European kite landboard champions. They will also be offering public taster sessions where visitors can fly power kites with one-to-one supervision and guidance from experienced fliers.

Demonstrations:

Land demonstrations: Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th July 2007 ;
11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. daily.

Free Taster Sessions

Power kiting taster sessions: Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th July 2007

at various times between 9 a.m. and 5.30 p.m.

Land kiting in Princes Park, opposite Fort Fun, Royal Parade, Eastbourne.
Kite surfing on beaches opposite Extreme Site.

Kent Kite Flyers

Kent Kite Flyers will for the first time be demonstrating their Kite Flying skills as part of the Eastbourne Extreme Event. Demonstrations will be held in Princes Park throughout the weekend.
